1. Educational purpose
The simulations, articles, and materials on this site are provided for teaching and learning. They are designed to help students and professionals understand international trade practice. They are not legal, financial, customs, or investment advice, and should not be relied upon for an actual commercial transaction. Trade rules change; always verify against the current text of the ICC Incoterms® rules, DGFT notifications, RBI circulars, and applicable law before acting.
Incoterms® is a registered trademark of the International Chamber of Commerce. The simulations on this site are independent educational exercises. They are not produced, endorsed, certified, or affiliated with the ICC. Certificates issued here record completion of a learning exercise and are not professional accreditation.
2. Academic integrity
Where these simulations are used as part of a course, participants are expected to complete them on their own. Sharing answers, submitting another person's attempt as your own, or manipulating the application to alter a score defeats the purpose of the exercise and may breach your institution's academic-integrity policy.
3. Use of AI
Some tools on this site — including any agents published under the Agents section — are built on AI systems. Where AI is used, it is disclosed. AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete and are always presented as a starting point for your own judgement, never as authoritative advice. AI is not used to make decisions about individuals, to grade people, or to profile visitors. Written editorials and research published under my name are my own work; AI is not used to author them.
4. Research ethics
If data gathered through these simulations is ever used for research or publication, it will be aggregated and anonymised so that no individual or institution is identifiable, and it will be handled in line with the ethics requirements of the institution under which the research is conducted. Personal data is never published. Participants who prefer their activity to be excluded may request this at any time.
5. Intellectual property
The simulation design, scenarios, scoring logic, written content, and site design are my own work and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to use these simulations in your classroom and to cite or link to any material here. Please do not copy, rebrand, resell, or redistribute the material as your own. For institutional use, collaboration, or licensing, write to me — I am generally glad to say yes.
6. Accounts and fair use
- Register with accurate details; certificates carry the name you provide.
- Keep your password to yourself and do not share accounts.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Accounts used abusively may be removed without notice.
7. Accessibility
I aim to keep this site readable and usable — clear contrast, sensible text sizes, keyboard-navigable forms, and a layout that works on a phone. If any part of it is difficult for you to use, please tell me and I will try to fix it.
8. Availability
This site runs on a single modest server and is offered as-is. It may be unavailable during updates or maintenance. Please do not schedule a graded, time-critical assessment on it without telling me in advance so that I can make sure it is available.
